چکیده

Electronic textiles have become a dynamic research field in recent decades, attracting attention to smart wearables develop and integrate electronic devices onto clothing. Combining traditional screen-printing techniques with novel nanocarbon-based inks offers seamless integration of flexible conformal antenna patterns fabric substrates minimum weight penalty haptic disruption. In this study, two different fabric-based designs called PICA LOOP were fabricated through scalable process by tuning the conductive ink formulations accompanied cellulose nanocrystals. The printing was controlled monitored revealing relationship between textiles’ nature conducting nano-ink. prototypes tested environments mimicking complex real-life situations, such as being proximity human body, affected wrinkling, bending, care washing or ironing. Both computational experimental on-and-off-body gain results acknowledged potential tunable material systems complimenting for sensing technology plausible pathway future wearables.

Textiles for Signal Transmission in Wearables

The future trend in wearable computing is to integrate electronics directly into textiles. Our approach is to use conductive textiles for signal transmission. We investigated the electrical performance of textile transmission lines. We present methods for measuring as well as for modeling the high frequency properties of textiles. With the results it is possible to predict the electrical proper...

Smart antennas

Smart antennas have become an essential paradigm for the enhancement of capacity in cellular communications systems. In 2nd Generation Systems smart antennas were aiming at increasing capacity either by reuse within ceN (Space Division Multiple Access SDMA) or by intercell interference reduction (Spatial Filtering for Interference Reduction SFIR). Later in 3rd Generation UMTS UTRA (Universal Te...
